Reshma Ahmed.

Reshma Begum stands as a formidable force in grassroots education and community transformation. As the visionary founder of Snehjori, she has been instrumental in addressing the educational disparities faced by marginalized communities in Assam, particularly the children of migratory workers. Under her leadership, Snehjori has initiated and executed impactful programs such as library outreach, early childhood education centers, and disaster relief efforts, all aimed at fostering holistic development and empowerment. Her unwavering commitment to education and community upliftment has garnered recognition and support from various organizations and individuals dedicated to social change.

Santoj Hazarika – Trustee

Santoj Hazarika, a trustee at Snehjori, comes from an engineering background and brings a strong passion for social work. Beyond his professional expertise, Santoj is a talented artist who loves exploring colors and expressing creativity through his guitar and artwork. His unique blend of technical skills, creativity, and commitment to community development supports Snehjori’s mission of empowering children, youth, and women.

Miraj Mohammad – Trustee

Miraj Mohammad, a trustee at Snehjori, supports the organization’s outreach programs with his extensive experience in education. With over 12 years of expertise running an education centre, he brings deep knowledge of teaching, community engagement, and program management, strengthening Snehjori’s mission to empower children, youth, and women through learning and skill development.

Minaj Khatun – Program Lead

Minaj holds a Master’s degree in History from IGNOU and a B.A. (Honours) in History from Pandu College. She is passionate about reading and lifelong learning. As Program Lead at Snehjori, she is dedicated to education, youth empowerment, and community development.

Anju Das – Facilitator

Anju Das could not complete her higher education due to financial challenges, but she dreams of continuing her studies in the future. She joined Snehjori to learn, grow personally, and contribute meaningfully. Passionate about art and craft, she enjoys working with children and creating joyful learning experiences.

Punam Hazarika – Youth Facilitator

Punam is from Pandu and is currently pursuing her Higher Secondary education at Sunaram Higher Secondary School. She completed her HSLC from Pandu Adarsh High School. Passionate about singing, drawing, and travelling, she aspires to become a self-independent person. As a Youth Facilitator at Snehjori, she is dedicated to learning, growth, and community engagement.
